This guide is therefore likely to evolve depending on several criteria: temporary good deals, price reductions, products recently passed through our lab ... It is thus able to guide you in your purchasing process, whatever the when you will consult it. The graphics cards are classified there by six price brackets, from 200 € and less up to 1 €. Eight references are currently listed there, out of 700 products tested and referenced in our comparison.

As a reminder, each GPU has been combed with a fine-tooth comb during our tests, which focus on evaluating three criteria: in-game performance, energy consumption, and the noise generated by each product.

Nvidia dominates AMD ... for now

Like the graphics card market, our buying guide is dominated by two players: Nvidia and AMD. The first takes the lion's share, and largely, AMD only benefiting from a single reference in our selection. But the arrival of the Radeon RX 6000, on November 18, could well reshuffle the cards. It should also be noted that the GeForce RTX 30 models, the three representatives of which are mentioned in the guide, are continually subject to availability problems, which can sometimes affect your choice.

For the moment, Nvidia largely occupies the pole position on the high and mid-range. The two graphics cards that most impressed our testers are thus at the top of the list, in the categories under € 1 and under € 700. These are respectively the GeForce RTX 1 and GeForce RTX 100. Two products rated 3090 stars, which therefore perfectly meet the expectations that we are entitled to have by investing more than 3080 € in this type of component.

How the price table works
