If you have already enabled this feature, you can wipe / format the iPhone remotely. Here are the steps to follow for RESET your iphone remotely
Before deleting the iPhone remotely, it is necessary that the "Find my iPhone”Is enabled on the device. To do this, go to Settings, tap “iCloud” and go all the way to turn “Find My iPhone” to the ON position.
Step 1: Apri iCloud.com
Using a computer or other device, use a web browser to open iCloud.com and log into your account using your Apple ID credentials. Alternatively, you can also open the Find My iPhone app on any other device.
Step 2: Select iPhone icon
Once logged in, you will be able to see the "Maps" window which will show all devices connected to that Apple ID. Tap the option “devices”In the upper left corner of the screen and select the iOS device you want to remotely format.

Tap the blue icon next to your iPhone name and a pop-up will open. From this window click the option "Initialize the iphone".
At this point, if your device is online, the remote formatting. You will receive a confirmation email at your Apple ID address. If the iPhone is offline instead, remote formatting will begin as soon as it is online.
NB: If you format your iphone but later find it again, you can restore its contents using an iCloud or iTunes backup (if done before formatting)
