With each update, Apple brings great new features to its product line. Two of the main features on the iPhone 5S are the “Touch ID” fingerprint recognition and the iOS 7 version. Despite all these exciting new features, the iPhone 5S is still limited in some respects. Thanks to the Evad3rs team, it's possible carry out the iPhone 5S jailbreak and therefore make it without limitations from the point of view of the apps that can be downloaded outside the Apple app store.
Jailbreaking the iPhone 5S using evasi0n 7 is very simple to do and guarantees stability. But like any jailbreaking manipulation or iOS update, it is always recommended to make a backup before jailbreaking the iPhone 5S in order to fix if something wrong happens.
If you get something wrong during the jailbreak process, you can restore iPhone 5S via iTunes, iCloud backup or you can use Dr.Fone for iOS to recover lost data from your iPhone 5S by analyzing its internal memory.
If you've never jailbroken an iPhone before, this tutorial is for you. We describe all the steps in the simplest way possible to jailbreak an iPhone 5S with iOS 7 and using evasi0n 7. In the tutorial we use the Mac version of evasi0n 7, the Windows version is very similar, so you won't have any problems following this tutorial on a Windows PC.
Step 1: Remove passcode from iPhone 5S (if any)
Disable the screen lock code on your iPhone 5s (if there is one). To do this, from the iPhone 5s screen go to Settings -> General -> Code Lock and set it to OFF.
Step 2: Scarica Evasi0n 7
You can download the evasi0n 7 software from the evasion7.com website. Make sure you download the correct version for your PC (Windows or Mac).
Step 3: Avvia Evasion 7
At the end of the download double click on the file to install it. Then start the application.
Step 4: Collega iPhone 5S al computer
Connect your iPhone 5S to computer via USB cable.
Step 5: Click the “Jailbreak” button to start the procedure
Evasi0n 7 will detect your iPhone 5S and show the iOS firmware version of your device. Click on the jailbreak button to start the process.
Step 6: Unlock iPhone 5S and click on evasi0n 7 app
Once the process is completed you will see a message appear informing you that your iPhone has been unlocked. At this point click on the evasi0n 7 app and wait again because the Jailbreaking is not finished yet.
Step 7: Riavvia iPhone 5s
Your iPhone screen will go black and then it will reboot by itself. Don't worry, everything is normal. Once restarted you will see the cydia app on your phone, this means you have jailbroken your iPhone 5s correctly!
Step 8: Configura Cydia
To configure Cydia, click on the app and it will automatically start. At the first start the app will reboot your iPhone 5s and immediately afterwards you will have to click again on the Cydia app to start downloading all the applications that you cannot find on the Apple app store!
