According to early information CET, an acronym that stands for Control-flow Enforcement Technology, should arrive in the middle of April on all Chromium-based browsers. Initially introduced in 2016, this security implementation was first added in 2020 on computers equipped with 11th generation Intel processor and later on those with processor AMD Ryzen 5000 with Zen 3 architecture. If CET is destined to appear on all products equipped with the same type of core, no information has yet been provided on the possibility of seeing the same technology on Mozilla, browser that uses Quantum as a rendering engine.

CET, how to check if it is active on Windows 10
Also Windows 10 has implemented CET, through what has been called Hardware-enforced Stack Protection. If your computer is equipped with one of the processors mentioned above, you can do a quick check to know the active processes that use this functionality.
To do this, simply start Activity Management (Task Manager) and select the tab view Details. On the header of one of the columns on the screen, just right click and choose the item Select Columns in the menu that just appeared. Finally, in the new window just tick the wording Stack protection applied through hardware. Once available, the column will allow you to view the required information.
