On Chrome, on the other hand, the function is a "semi-absolute" novelty, because in reality it is the evolution of something that already exists. of the browser market equal to 68% of web surfers.
Passwords at risk: what's new in Chrome?
What is it about exactly? We start from the functions already present in Chrome: in case of signal data breach, i.e. a data theft from some site that has a database of usernames and passwords, Google Chrome carries out a verification within the portfolio of login credentials saved in the profiles of its users.
If user data is part of that stolen by hackers, then the user is at risk and must change their password. Then Chrome notifies the user to tell him to do it as soon as possible, because that password is dangerous.

Everything is provided that the site in question complies with the criteria of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which require the presence of a page dedicated to resetting the password with its own specific URL.
